"I came to Grease Monkey not knowing what was wrong with my car. There was a strange order and smoke coming from the engine. I thought since I had just had an oil change at Grease Monkey a couple weeks ago, it may be attributed to that. When I pulled up, Ed Ivaska greeted me and he was very friendly. He immediately took my car in to take a look. After inspection, he found a crack that was causing my coolent to leak. This was a time sensitive issue because once the crack got bigger, I was at risk for the whole thing to combust at any time on the road. This worried me because I have 3 kids and do a lot of driving around to sports, school and church. I was able to pick up a part from the dealer and I brought it back for installation. Ed needed the car to cool off so the service was going to take awhile. He offered to drive me home a few minutes away and pick me back up when the vehical was ready. Uses conventional motor oil. This oil change meets or exceeds most owner’s manual specifications to extend the life of your vehicle’s engine.

Synthetic Blend Full Service Oil Change

Uses a combination of regular and synthetic motor oil. Includes all the benefits of the Conventional Full Service Oil Change, plus:

  • Offers improved engine protection during cold starts
  • Helps prevent oil breakdown
  • Reduces oil consumption

 

Synthetic Full Service Oil Change

Uses synthetic motor oil. Includes all the benefits of the Conventional Full Service Oil Change, plus:

  • Provides excellent wear protection in high temperatures and hot-running engines
  • Maximizes fuel economy
  • Provides maximum long-term wear protection of critical engine parts


High Mileage Performance Additive Full Service Oil Change

Uses a combination of regular and synthetic motor oil specifically formulated for high-mileage vehicles. Includes all the benefits of the Conventional Full Service Oil Change, plus:

  • Professionally formulated to help protect critical engine parts for vehicles with over 75,000 miles
  • Helps fight sludge and varnish deposits
  • Helps stop viscosity breakdown
  • Includes seal conditioners to help prevent leaks

Uses EcoPower® eco-friendly motor oil, which provides the extra protection of a synthetic blend formulation with a much smaller carbon footprint. Includes all the benefits of the Conventional Full Service Oil Change, plus these eco-friendly benefits:

  • Uses up to 85% less energy to produce than oil refined from crude
  • Conserves resources
  • Reduces dependence on foreign oil

Free Top-Offs Between Regular Oil Changes!

Come see us to change your oil every 3 months or 3,000 miles, and between services, stop by and we'll check and top off these vital fluids:

  • Motor oil (up to 1 quart)
  • Power steering fluid
  • Battery fluid
  • Windshield washer fluid
  • Transmission or transaxle fluid
  • Check and set your tire pressure

All at no extra charge (at most locations). Free top-offs are available at your Grease Monkey center Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., but we’ll try to accommodate your schedule during all open business hours.

What Is “Severe Driving?”

Most vehicle manufacturers recommend changing your oil every 3 months or 3,000 miles under “severe driving conditions.” The “severe driving conditions” described in most owner’s manuals include:

  • Stop-and-go or city driving
  • Trips under 10 miles
  • Dusty driving conditions
  • Extremely cold weather
  • Idling for long periods
  • Carrying a heavy load or towing a trailer

Typical driving usually includes one or more of these severe driving conditions, so it makes sense to follow the severe driving schedule for routine oil changes.
